Mr Robert Hone

Mr Robert Hone is a leading Consultant ENT Surgeon in Kent and Sussex, with nearly 20 years of surgical experience. He graduated from Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’ School of Medicine in 2008 and went on to complete a Master of Surgery degree in 2015 with distinction.

Mr Hone is committed to delivering the highest standards of patient-centred care. He believes that patients should be at the heart of decisions about their treatment and takes time to listen carefully, understand their concerns and undertake a thorough assessment. His approachable manner, clear communication and excellent surgical skills have been recognised consistently throughout his career.

Alongside his clinical practice, Mr Hone is actively involved in research and medical education. He has presented his work at national and international conferences and has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications, including journal articles and book chapters covering a broad range of ENT topics. He continues to contribute to research collaborations in the UK and internationally.

Mr Hone welcomes both adult and paediatric patients with a wide range of ear, nose and throat conditions. His specialist interests include thyroid and parathyroid surgery, voice disorders, head and neck cancer, salivary gland disease, skin cancer, sinus and septal surgery, throat conditions, rhinosinusitis, tinnitus, hearing loss and paediatric ENT.

Mr Hone has extensive surgical experience, with more than 5,000 surgical cases logged to date, including tonsillectomy, septoplasty, sinus surgery, thyroid and parathyroid surgery, parotid and other salivary gland surgery, and procedures on the larynx (voice box).
