Dr Clare Ilsley qualified in 2001, and moved to Sussex to complete her pre registration year of training. After a year working in New Zealand she returned to East Sussex to join the Hastings GP Training Scheme.  Dr Ilsley has remained in the area ever since, as a GP partner in Bexhill on Sea for over 10 years and is now a GP in Eastbourne.

Dr Ilsley hugely enjoys being a GP and considers it a privilege to be involved in the ongoing care of her patients.

Dr Ilsley has an interest in menopause care and mental health and balances her clinical work with a role in training and education and is a Programme Director for the East Sussex GP training scheme.
