Prior to entering Medical School Mr Aldridge spent a year working in an immunology research group, gaining valuable experience of research techniques including cell culture and raising monoclonal antibodies.  His work contributed to the publications listed below.

Mr Aldridge’s chosen surgical specialty is coloproctology. Within this field he has particular interest in prolapse surgery, familial colorectal cancer, rectal cancer, inflammatory bowel disease and colonoscopy.
