Dr Kankam is a Consultant in Respiratory Medicine. He is listed on the General Medical Council (GMC) Specialist Register and specialises in the diagnosis and treatment of respiratory disorders and general medicine.

Dr Kankam has over 20 years’ experience in respiratory medicine and has worked at consultant level for over 15 years. Dr Kankam has extensive knowledge and experience in a wide variety of lung diseases particularly asthma, sarcoidosis, tuberculosis (TB), pneumonia, lung cancer and pleural disease, including pneumothorax and pleural effusion.

Dr Kankam completed his Respiratory Medicine training in various teaching hospitals across London, Kent and Sussex, including, St Thomas’, King’s College, Brighton, Conquest and Kent & Sussex Hospitals. He is a member of various professional and specialist bodies and continues to engage in research.
