Mr Michail Klimovskij currently works as a Consultant General and Colorectal Surgeon in East Sussex Healthcare Trust (ESHT).   He works as a high-volume surgeon in laparoscopic major colorectal, including general and emergency surgery.  Mr Michail KlimovskijI is interested in laparoscopic major colorectal and complex abdominal wall surgery and has expertise in haemorrhoid surgery, fistula and fissure surgery.

Since graduating medicine in 2002, he finished his training in General Surgery in 2014 and has been a member of the GMC Specialist Register since 2015.  Mr Klimovskij continued his career progression in General and Colorectal Surgery at ESHT and developed advanced skills in general and colorectal surgery, with an emphasis on a laparoscopic and a minimally invasive approach.

He does high volumes of bowel surgery as well as hernia and gallbladder surgery and was part of the ‘hot gallbladder’ team giving him expertise in cholecystectomies in difficult cases.
