How to Refer Your Patients

Self-funding Patients 

Self-funding patients are able to be seen by a range of Consultants without a GP referral with the exception of Cardiology, Rheumatology and Respiratory.  We can provide a *tailored fixed price, inclusive care package with no hidden extras on a range of diagnostic test, treatments and surgical procedures.  For more information please ask your patient to call our Self-pay team on 01424 757455.

  • Our self-pay team will be able to discuss consultants, dates, times and pricing.
  • We’ll update you on your patients progress.

Referral letters 

Referral letters can be e-mailed with encryption to esht.sphappointments@nhs.net

 

Patients with private medical insurance

A referral letter is required from your patient before any insured patient can be seen by a consultant.  Patients can call our bookings team on 01424 757 454 to arrange a convenient appointment.

  • Our team will contact your patient to discuss consultants, dates, times and pricing.
  • Your patient will need to contact their insurance company to gain an authorisation code and we will also need a copy of your patients membership number.
  • We’ll update you on your patients progress.

NHS patients

Sussex Premier Health provides a range of elective surgical services on behalf of the NHS.
