I have worked in Ultrasound as an imaging specialty since 1991 with practitioner posts at St Albans Hospital and Whipps Cross Hospital (London). The experience from these positions led to promotion into the Lead for Ultrasound Imaging firstly at the Homerton Hospital (London) and then Guys and St Thomas’ (London) and East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust (Conquest, EDGH and Bexhill Hospitals). A sabbatical from ESHT allowed me to work for over a year in Auckland, New Zealand to experience their healthcare system.

Within the Ultrasound Imaging field, I undertake and report ultrasound scans in the areas of General abdominal, Urology, gynaecology (both transvaginal and transabdominal), testicular, groin, soft tissue, lumps/bumps and vascular (Carotid and DVT).

In any one year I perform over 4,500 ultrasound examinations.
