Having been appointed as a consultant in trauma and orthopaedics in 1998 I have developed my interest to become solely and upper limb surgeon.

I am active member of the British Shoulder and Elbow society, participate in the local surgical societies and spend much of my time as an examiner and educator of our surgical trainees.

My training has involved both elective and trauma operative skills whilst I remain cautious in the need for surgery in the first instance and will always endeavour to find a non-operative solution to a problem.
