Mr Simon Hoskinson

I undertook my preclinical undergraduate medical training at the University of Cambridge, and then completed clinical training at the Royal Free & University College Medical School, London in 2000. Following basic surgical training in Brighton, I then completed higher surgical training in Trauma and Orthopaedics in London and the south east of England.

Following completion of my surgical training and gaining entry onto the Specialist Register, I undertook a Fellowship at St. Michael’s Hospital, Toronto, Canada which further developed my experience in hip and knee replacement surgery, including revision surgery. I then undertook a further Fellowship specialising in primary and revision hip and knee replacement surgery at St. George’s Hospital, London.

I was appointed as a Consultant trauma and orthopaedic surgeon with a special interest in hip and knee replacement surgery at East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust in 2015. I perform cemented and uncemented hip replacements, and knee replacements using implants with excellent long term track records.
