We have dedicated our professional lives to dealing with people with vision problems in the UK, but now also want to use our skill set to help those that cannot access healthcare through no fault of their own around the world. We are a highly trained and motivated group, each bringing different skills for the shared outcome of improving the quality of lives”.

Globally, cataract is the main cause of blindness with the vast majority of cataract blind living in low-income countries. The Guru Projects Foundation conducts eye camps across the world where teams of volunteer expert surgeons, nurses and optometrists will travel to communities to treat those in need.
